Sat. Day 1: Arrival Day / Meet & Greet
Arrive on Alaska Air or WestJet flight into Loreto (book own fights)
Welcome drink, Meet & Greet, Group Dinner.
Sun. Day 2: Kayaking Coronados Island
Group breakfast, transport 12 km to / from Punta Bajo. Spend the day kayaking to the Caribbean-like turquoise waters of Isla Coronados. Enjoy a gourmet beach lunch, snorkel, volcano hike, bird watching.

Mon. Day 3: Tabor Canyon Hike
Group Breakfast then drive south to the Tabor Canyon (aka Steinbeck Canyon, as written about in John Steinbeck's Log Form the Sea of Cortez.) Waterfalls, palm trees, and a lush green oasis await us on this beautiful hike.
Post-hike Fish Tacos.
Spend the afternoon exploring Loreto.
Tue. Day 4: Panga Tour Boat
Group to-go breakfast and then off on an early morning boat trip. Depending on the season we will focus on either Whale Watching (Feb - Apr) or Sports Fishing (Nov - Jan). There will be time to snorkel, see the Sea Lions, and bird watch too.
Wed. Day 5: Puerto Escondido Kayaking
Group Breakfast then drive 30 minutes south to Pto. Escondido for a day of kayaking. Weather permitting, we'll also cross to Danzante Island. Highlights include snorkeling, bird watching in the mangroves and a gourmet beach lunch.
Group Dinner in Loreto.
Thu. Day 6: Rancho San Cosme
Group Breakfast. Daytrip to visit the Subsistence Ranch family at San Cosme. We'll enjoy authentic Mexican food go mule / horse back riding, visit hot springs, indigenous cave paintings and check out hand-made jewelery.
Fri. Day 7: San Janiver Mission and Loreto History Tour
Group Breakfast, Spend the day in Loreto. We'll walk to the Loreto museum and the Loreto Mission (oldest mission in all the Californias, founded in 1697.) Later we'll drive 26 km to the most well-preserved and second oldest mission in San Javier. Lunch in a local cafe.
Final Group Dinner.
Sat. Day 8: Last breakfast
Meet for our final group breakfast. Time to pack or beach walk. Ride to the airport for your flight home.

This trip is designed for active individuals. None of it is overly challenging but some of the hiking and kayaking may be strenuous. We offer single or double kayaks, depending on your skill level and preference.
There are some days when weather may dictate that we stay off the water (ie. strong wind or waves). We may have to shuffle the trip schedule, or completely change a day on the water for a different land activity. Thank you for understanding :)
Note: We have planned this trip to allow for people using the direct WestJet flights arriving and departing on Wednesdays and Saturdays. However, feel free to make other arrangements (arrive in Loreto earlier, or stay later, to spend more time exploring this amazing area)
