The Experience

Wale Watching in the famed Blue Whale Triangle off of Loreto, Baja California del Sur is a once in a lifetime experience never to miss!

The Sea of Cortez was named 'the world's aquarium' by Jacque Cousteau, and this rich marine ecosystem is unparalleled in beauty and diversity! This is not only a national park in Mexico, but a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve protecting the Blue Whale feeding grounds, and Sea Turtle nesting habitat.

Join us on a three day, two night base camp. We will fully cater this getaway with healthy local cuisine, featuring sustainably harvested seafood. We will day trip with local whale watching guides who are certified to guide within the National Marine Park, called Parque Nacional Bahia de Loreto. We will travel to different regions of the park by Panga Boat.  During which we will view whales, dolphins, sea lions, shorebirds, and much more from a respectful, yet intimate, distance.

The Base camp will be situated on a pristine, sandy beach on one of the islands in the park. Bring your own tent, or we can rent you one. Our off the gird, leave no trace camping ethics provide the perfect setting to relax after a day out on the water. The base camp has accessible hiking, beach combing, snorkeling, and bird watching or just relaxing with a book under the sun shade! By night star gazing and astronomy!

Our Naturalist Guides will provide a wealth of local knowledge, enriching the experience while whale watching, snorkeling, birding, and hiking.  We are excited to share this natural and biologically unique paradise with you!  Don't forget your camera, as these Blue Whales are photogenic "gentle giants" you'll want to capture this once in a lifetime experience.
